✨🎹 Saturday’s candlelight charity concert for Rosie’s birthday was truly special.. Honoured to have played a part in supporting this wonderful cause; Rosie’s Legacy supports premature babies and their families aswell as essential neonatal care equipment for local hospitals.

Huge thanks to everyone who attended, donated, and made the evening so meaningful. 💜

Today I’d like to share an interview I had the privilege of doing on Notts TV with Richard C. Bower, where we reflected on the story of Gideon Klein, a remarkable young Holocaust-era composer who continued to create music even in the darkest of times.

In the interview, Richard also shared the story behind his poignant poetic tribute, which brought an even deeper sense of meaning to the conversation.

80 years ago is really not a long time at all, it’s very recent history and a timely reminder for us never to give way to hatred in any of its forms.

Let us continue to reflect, and strive for a world of unity and peace--and remember, every effort makes a difference, even the smallest acts of kindness.

Today is Holocaust Memorial Day. 🙏
I’ve taken a pause to remember all the victims, as well as those who continue to suffer from atrocities and hatred in our world today.

Recently, I composed a tribute piece in honour of Gideon Klein, a Holocaust-era composer who continued to write music through unimaginable suffering. His work survived against all odds, and his extraordinary spirit continues to inspire. ✨

(You may remember the concert we held at the The National Holocaust Centre and Museum in December around what would have been Gideon's 106th Birthday—an experience that will always stay with me.)

Let’s hold space today for reflection, hope, and unity.
